The Vision of the Viva Foundation of South Africa is to be instrumental in the transformation of informal settlement & other high-priority poverty areas into stable and safe neighbourhoods offering education, business-, employment and recreation opportunities to all members of the community. 

The aim is to establish service centres within the communities we serve, from where we can offer a palette of services with the help of strategic partners. 

Viva has 4 Focus Areas:

We have a centre in Mamelodi East, Bushbuckridge, Botrivier & Cullinan.

 

We serve more than 100 000 warm meals to children every year. We have 35 full-time staff and every year, approximately 400 people volunteer for Viva. Viva was founded in 2007 by Leon Kriel and Meleney Berry-Kriel. Viva is also registered in Germany as Viva Foundation e.V.
